Frequently asked questions
A few helpful answers before you walk through the doors.
What can I expect when I visit for the first time?
You will be met with warm smiles and a friendly welcome. Our church is small but close, made up of people who love God and want to grow together. Sunday services are simple and focused on the Bible and honoring Jesus. You will hear clear Bible teaching, sing songs of worship, pray, and enjoy a loving and respectful atmosphere. Whether this is your first time at church or you have attended for years, we hope you feel both encouraged and challenged in your faith.
What does the church believe about the Bible?
We believe the Bible is God’s true and perfect Word. It guides everything we do and believe and is the final authority in all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16). Every sermon and church decision is based on Scripture because we want to follow God’s truth, not human ideas. We also pray every believer will read and live out God’s Word every day.
What kinds of ministries or activities do you offer?
Even though we are a small rural church, we are active in worship, learning, and serving. We meet every Sunday and Wednesday for worship and Bible studies. We also enjoy fellowship in smaller groups or as a whole church throughout the month. Our focus is more on building real relationships in Christ than simply having programs. We want to support each other as we live out our faith together.
How can I get involved or become a member?
We would love to help you join our church family. Start by coming to our services and getting to know us. If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior and have been baptized, please talk with the pastor or a church leader about membership. Being a member is a joyful decision to grow, serve, and care for one another in Christ, not just a formality.
