About Us

Welcome to Immanuel Baptist Church! We’re a small, rural fellowship of believers with a big heart for God and His Word.

We believe the Bible is the inspired and sufficient Word of God, our final authority in all matters of faith and life. As a Christ-centered congregation, we seek to glorify Him by making disciples through faithful obedience.

Whether gathered in worship, serving our community, or walking alongside one another in everyday life, we desire to be shaped by Scripture and led by the Spirit. In all we do, we stand on the conviction that “all scripture is given by inspiration of God” (2 Timothy 3:16).

Whether you're looking for a church home or simply seeking truth and encouragement, we welcome you to join us as we follow Christ together.

What We Believe

Our church affirms the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, which expresses the core beliefs of Southern Baptists:

 • The Bible – God’s Word, fully true and the ultimate authority for faith and life.

 • God – One God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

 • Jesus Christ – The eternal Son of God who became fully human, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and offers salvation to all who believe.

 • The Holy Spirit – Convicts of sin, calls people to salvation, and empowers believers for holy living and service.

 • Salvation – A gift of God’s grace received through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone.

 • The Church – A local body of baptized believers who gather for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission.

 • Baptism and the Lord’s Supper – The two ordinances given by Jesus: baptism by immersion as a testimony of faith, and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of His sacrifice.

 • Christian Living – Believers are called to love God, love others, share the gospel, and live in obedience to Christ.

 • The Family – Marriage is the union of one man and one woman, and the family is God’s primary place for faith and character formation.

 • The Last Things – Jesus will return, there will be a final judgment, and believers will live with God forever.
